My dear friend Magda from cooking school (12 years ago!) has a smart and sassy blog about all things Christmas. Every day, there’s a holiday story from one of her friends and colleagues. Mine’s up today–a story about sneaking around the house at Christmastime, and, inevitably, about getting caught.

Congratulations on your book! I hope to attend one of your local celebrations. We met in the library at the New England Small Farm Institute when you were doing some research. If you’re not already aware of PVGrows, you may want to tap into this food-systems network: http://www.pvgrows.net.

Hi Madeleine, Aren’t you kind! to get in touch. Look forward to seeing you at one of the parties. That was some years ago, wasn’t it, at NESFI? Good memory! Is PVGrows affiliated with/derived from/a partner of CISA? I see the address is the same…

Hi Susan, I worked at the NESFI library from 2003-2006 so it *was* a while back. PVGrows is under the auspices of CISA although it’s an independent entity. The last Fall Forum had 120 people in attendance and the “Fast Talk About Food” event on 11/9/11 had 85! Might be a good way to expand your own network and you would have lots to contribute at these happenings, I’m sure. Best, Madeleine
